Finally! Some slightly more authentic tasting sushi! IMHO, Sushi Train’s much better than Sushi King [not the same franchise as the one back home] The sashimi was great And the unagi was nice and juicy too. But yeah, it’s a tad more expensive. The plates all cost the same at $3 each. I had the miso soup too, $1.50. I’d really recommend this place if you’ve been craving for sushi

Exam Fever Cured

Right after our MCBT 300 paper on Tuesday, a huge gang of us went dim-suming @ Kowloon in Chinatown. When I brandished out my camera, I was met with pleas of “Don’t! Don’t! I not enough sleep! My face so pale! My eye bags so huge!” Haha, you get the gist. Many pulled an all-nighter and have results to show for that. But good food and great company soon made up for that.

Shopaholic on the loose!!

I guess the title really explains it all. We invaded both Harbor Town and Marion. Gathered up a troop [eh, shopping's a serious business k?] and conquered the mall we did! Success!!! The total damage of the day was about $160++

I finally found a pair of boots that can actually fit my humongous calves!!! And it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for too! Double success! Bought a $10 dress too! Cheap!

Oh yeah, Transformers was AWESOME! I mean seriously! I was a childhood fan [thx to my dad, who I think was channeling his inner child through me when he bought me Transformers figurines] and never did I expect the movie to feel so…. complete. You know? Like there was nothing missing from the story. The cast was superb, storyline fantastic, there was mystery, romance [between Bumble Bee and Sam, action EVERYTHING! Oh yeah, there was Josh Duhamel and Shia too~

One down, two to go!*had my pharmacology tests yesterday. it’s certainly too early to rate how disastrous it was…

*having my hospital placement tomorrow… sigh gotta really participate tomorrow. my tutor actually said i was quiet! c’mon! yonghwee = quiet???? i can see many of you laughing your asses off now. so, let’s move on.

*MCBT test on thursday… i’m okay i guess… i’ve only pharmacogenetics left and i just need to browse through the tutorials and sample questions. the only thing getting in my way is the negative marking. granted michael ward did explain why it was implemented.. but hard lar wei~ 1/2 mark!!!!

*i’ve got labs on friday.. good luck to me!

*then i’m free!!!! for this week at least. really got to buck up and get my ass in place for the finals… which is one month away!!!! shocker!

-just had my epidemiology tests this morning… it went surprisingly……………… terribly… not enough time wei!!!! anyway, it’s over, i need to move on. that is until the results are out-having my pharmacology tests next monday. just started (going to start now) studying. thank god it’s 30 mcq in 30 mins without the god-dreaded negative marking. wait a minute! 30 questions in 30 mins????

Mexicano~ *went to a place called Zappata @ Melbourne St. for dinner with my 3 housemates, Poh Lee’s friend Ai Fen and Ching*

the boss was kinda scary, he looked pissed when we only ordered an appetizer, an entree and 2 mains meals for the 6 of us. but come on! what did he expect??!!! one dish for the each of us?! i don’t want to land in KLIA at the end of the year with my mum asking “Who are you?”*the food was quite good though. although they started tasting the same after a while. i’ve concluded that mexican food consists of chicken, beef, beans, salsa, sour cream and guacomole. they all look the same too!!
